Jessie J fanfic 2 part 3

Since I know my mum is fine with whatever sexuality I may have, I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I don’t actually have to tell my dad because I’m living with my mum and he may never find out. Or maybe he will, but by then I have probably found the person that I love and it’d be easier to tell him, once I’m sure.

I got ready for school the next morning. Got my school things and stuff for me staying over at my dad’s tonight before going downstairs for breakfast. My mum had the tv on as she laid the table with our breakfast. I offered to help but my mum refused saying that the table is already laid. I just sat down and waited for my mum to join me before starting on my breakfast.

I gave my mum a quick kiss on the cheek and hugged her before leaving for school. Walking to the tube station, I was hoping to bump into Jessica in the tube. When it arrived, I walked past a few carriages before finally choosing one. Jessica is no where to be seen. I was really hoping to se her. I just feel disappointed now. There’s nothing else to do but put in my earphones and wait for my stop.

Barely five minutes I’ve arrived in school, Julie has already found me, greeting me with a huge smile on her face.

“Your second day in this amazing school!” she said with such enthusiasm as she flung her arms to her sides, gesturing to the walls; school.

“Thank you.” I replied with a slight giggle.

Whenever Julie and I were walking to our classes, I always look out for Jessica. Again, she’s no where to be seen.

During lunch I sit with Julie and her friends. As I was eating, I heard a familiar voice say, “Hi Emma.”

I turned around to see Jessica standing behind me with a huge smile on her face. “Hey.” I replied, Kinda shocked to see her after searching almost the whole day.

“How are you?” she asked.

“I’m good, you?”

“Great.” she replied with warm smile.

“Hey Jessica, come on or we’ll be late.” her friend was calling out for her.

“Be there in a minute.” she told them before turning back to me, “Well I guess I’ll see you in music.”

“Guess so.”

“Bye.” she said with a small wave which I awkwardly responded with my goodbye wave.

Our next class was music class. Jessica was already there with her friends and she called out to me and Julie, asking us to sit near them so I did. Julie was reluctant at first but she followed me in the end.

I listened to Jessica and her friends talk. They we making plans. From plans after school to plans for summer to plans after they are all done with school for good.

After school finished, I walked out with Julie. Jessica came running from behind calling out for us to wait. We stopped and Jessica arrived slightly breathless.

“What are you doing?” I asked her.

“I was wondering if you want to walk to the tube station with me?” she suggested.

“Oh. Um.. I’m actually going back with my dad. He’s picking me up.” I told her.

“Oh, okay. Another time then. Bye.” she said with a warm smile before walking away.

“Bye.” I replied.

“You just turned her down?” Julie suddenly said.

“What?”

“Jessica, she wanted to walk with you but you said no.”

“Because my dad is picking me up. It’s not that i don’t want to.” I told her.

“She seems to like you though.”

“I’m sure because she’s just nice.” I said.

“Whatever you say. Anyway, my ride is here, I’ll see you tomorrow. Bye.” she waved before walking to a bus.

I waved back and just stood there. Watching Julie get into the bus. I looked around and saw Jessica walking to the tube station. I wish I was walking with her. At least I could actually really talk to her. In school she’s always with her friends and I have Julie. And for some reason, I feel like Julie doesn’t really like Jessica.

I was lost in my daydream when suddenly someone said “Miss Stevens.”

“What?” I looked up to see a tall man in a suit with shades standing next to me. I recognised him straight away, even with his shades on, Derrick, one of dad’s bodyguards. “Oh, it’s you.”

“A little smile would be nice.” he joked.

I sneered at him, “Where’s dad?” I asked.

“He’s caught up in office. I’m here to pick you up and take you back to the apartment.”

“Typical… You didn’t park the car near by right?” I asked. “I don’t want the kids here to think I’m rich. Even though I’m not. My dad is.”

“Don’t worry. I parked somewhere out of sight. The kids here shouldn’t see you. Now let’s go. Hungry? We could stop and get you some food if you want.”

“No I’m fine. I just want to go back home.” I told him.

“Alright. Come on.” he said as he lead me away from school and towards the car. A black BMW with tinted windows was parked in a quiet parking area for the shops near by.

“Can I drive?” I asked as we got nearer to the car.

“Do you even have a license?”

“No, but I know how to drive.”

“Are you trying to get your dad in trouble?” he asked.

“Maybe.”

He chuckled and said, “Alright, get in the car.”
